Pours a clear reddish-Amber in color with a finger of off white head. Aroma is malty, lightly toasty, some toffee. Taste follows the aroma and hits all the same notes but focuses on the toffe notes. It leans a little sweet but strikes a good balance. Good mouthfeel, light-medium body and carbonation. Overall a decent beer, easy drinking and enjoyable.

Pours a nice amber/orange tinted color with a decent head that fades quickly.
Aroma is subtle, but quite pleasing. Toffee and caramel on the forefront with a slight fruity/malty background.

Taste is smooth and crisp with the toffee/caramel providing a starring role complemented by malty/nutty undertones and a touch of bitterness on the finish which is perfect to prevent it from being read as a sweet beer. I can also pick up a little honey or maple as well.

Overall, a very enjoyable amber ale and yet another winner from Big Elm.

A- Poured from a 22oz bottle into a standard tulip glass. The vessel fills with a dark red brew with some orange hues around the edges. A small, creamy off-white head ends up around one finger high with decent retention. White ring leaves very spotty lacing.

S- Dark, cherry-like fruitiness from the yeast which seems to be an English strain. A light maltiness with toast and nutty hints but overall not a ton going on.

T- Malt and yeast driven with a pretty mild overall flavor profile. Notes of light caramel, toffee, toasted bread, nuttiness and red fruits come to mind. The fruitiness from the yeast is not medicinal at all and lingers on the palate nicely. Light Euro hops with spicy hints in the finish.

MF- High, crisp carbonation brings on a smooth creamy texture with agitation. Body overall is moderate and there is just a hint of bitterness in the finish.

Pleasant Amber Ale with a nice yeast and malty flavor profile. It doesn't smack you in the face with flavor, a bit mild, but it drinks smoothly and I like the yeast strain used here.

Toasty, malty and refreshing amber. A tad sweet for the style but in a great way. Reminiscent of honey and maple syrup. There's a nice crispy biscuit bite to it and just the right amount of carbonation. This is something I could comfortably drink on a warm day out by the river.
