Pours golden copper with nice thick 1-1/2”H white fluffy foamy cap (quickly fading) from tall can BJ’s beer club. Notes of fresh hopped Indian Pale Ale make this standard bitter hop forward IPA a nice semi-local brew choice from BJ’s Reno Nevada at 5.7% ABV and 65 IBU with “7 hops contribute fresh and pungent flavors of juicy tropical fruit and resinous pine. Hops: Bravo, Comet, fresh picked Idaho 7.

On tap at BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse in Aurora, CO; poured into a pokal.
Appearance - gold, no noticeable carbonation bubbles; thin, white head that leaves surprisingly superb lacing.
Smell - faint earthy hops with some biscuit-like malt notes.
Taste - fairly balanced hop/malt profile, however, fairly underwhelming.
Feel - for an ale that comes across balanced in taste and in the nose, the feel is decidedly hop forward!
Overall - enjoyable, but nothing that separates it from other IPA's.
