Brewed in the style of Gotlandsdricka, the native ale of Gotland, an island off the coast of Sweden. It's brewed with honey, juniper and smoked barley.

In a snifter, the beer shimmers in deep topaz hues with a soft haze – look through a glass and marvel at a world preserved in amber. A tan pillow sits atop the brew, frothy.

Bratwurst covered in fig jam. Dark fruits blend with rauch malt, biscuits, earthy honey, a touch of green apple, orange blossom. Very soft hint of toast.

Like a smoky amber ale. Peat smoke, biscuits, honey, alcohol, apple. Balanced finish, lingering smoky bitterness. Juniper only emerges very near room temperature -- gotta let this one warm up.

Tongue-numbing alcohol. Light body, silky on the tongue. Gentle carbonation, with bubbles like whipped cream. Keeps things drinkable.

Lots of flavor. Smoke isn't distracting, just sweet enough. Good flavor balance.
