From the 650 ml. bottle that has a bottling date of 8-17-13. Sampled on November 22, 2013.

The pour is orange to medium brown and bottle fermented cloudy with a soft, lasting off-white head. There are bits of sediment floating about the bottom of the glass. I like sediment.

On the nose are plenty of spices including including nutmeg, cinnamon, allspice, and even a whole coriander or two.

The body is medium to full but I think the fullness is more due to its creamy, smooth texture.

The taste is malt forward with most of the same spices and herbs picked up on the nose. But it does not take long for the yam and squash character to takeover and evolves into a modest bitterness at the finale. Alcohol is well-integrated. I hope you get to try this one because it is quite good.

Cloudy, muddy-orange pour with very little head and no retention/lacing - looks like cider. Aroma of typical spices and some alcohol. Similar in flavoring with some malt and a little hop balance. Not bad, but not great in an overpopulated style for fall.

Decent head that recedes in lumps. Cloudy, dark amber color.

Smell: Pumpkin and pumpkin pie spices. Yep, it's a toasted pumpkin ale.

Better hopped than most pumpkin beers, otherwise, this is what one has come to expect from the autumn offerings from New England: pumpkin, cinnamon and nutmeg. Darker malt flavor--a bit like a brown ale. Moderate body and bubbles.

Bottle from Bert's
Pours a slightly hazy deep golden color with orange highlights and a smallish off white head that quickly falls to a cap. Smells of caramel, brown sugar, nutmeg, and pie spice. Little to no hop aroma. The flavor is heavy on the spices backed by a sugary caramel base. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a sweet slick mouthfeel. Decent enough beer, not as bad as some of the other pumpkins I've had.
