From the 650 ml. bottle dated 5-19-14. Sampled on August 11, 2014.

Medium amber, slightly murky pour with a long lasting off-white head and plenty of lacing.

The aroma is what one would anticipate in an APA with a good supply of caramel malts, roasted malts, and a resiny, earthy hop character to balance it all out.

Medium body.

The hop bitterness plays itself out more in the taste but I am still picking up the caramel roasted malts, a butterscotch note, and grains. But overall it is the atypical APA.

New Hampshire's capitol city will be 250 years old next year so why note celebrate it now with a locally brewed tribute using a traditional style. You need to be in this part of the world to get your hands on this limited, special edition.

Pours a five-finger off-white head that fades very slowly leaving some lace. Hazy amber color, ton of yeast left in bottle. Good carbonation and medium bodied. Strong pine hop nose and flavor is pine hops with caramel almost balancing. $8.75 for a 12oz bottle Bert's Better Beers Hooksett, NH.

Bottle from the Londonderry Quik Stop bottled 7/29/14
Pours a slightly hazy deep copper with a huge bubbly tan head that slowly recedes to a cap. Aromas of bread and caramel with a solid shot of earthy pine and citrus. So far so good. The flavor is filled with earthy hop flavor balanced nicely with some light caramel and brown bread. Light astringency and hop bitterness. Medium body with a moderate to high level of carbonation. Decent beer, kind of a Englishy feeling hoppy amber type thing. If this beer, as well as most of the stuff from 603, wasn't overpriced, I might try it again.
