Bottle picked up locally and enjoyed from a two roads snifter.

a - brew pours an awesome pink color and a bubbly head that didn't last but never fully dissolved.

s - nose is a touch medicinal but berry in yo face. Ripe and fresh, ocean spray anyone?

t/m - soft raspberry wheat, a bit watered down in flavor and body.

o - refreshing raspberry brew, but missing some oomph.

Appearance: 1/4 inch head, moderate carbonation, red-brown in color, hazy

Smell: raspberries and fresh garden

Taste: raspberries, blackberries, and sour tartness

Mouthfeel: sweet and sour, light in body, prickly medium-high carbonation

Overall: I will give Two Roads credit. Most of the non-Belgian raspberry beers I have had tend to be lagers with raspberry syrup. This one is more tart. Nice summer brew. I had this on tap fresh at the brewery and had saved a couple bottles for a few months. I do like this with a bit of age a bit better as I think the flavors meld better. That said, I enjoyed this and will pick up more.

The appearance if the beauty was like seeing a beauty queen at night Barb. After your 20 drinks. Then you go home and you wake up with you find out that she's 84 years old with no teeth and like. I don't know why I did that. But I guess it was fun.

So there's beer looks good at first. I have an okay Melfield. It goes down alright. But it after I wouldn't really go get it again at the bar on purpose.

But everyone's case is different. Go ahead and roll the dice and try it

A: The beer is clear ruby red in color and has a slight amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that died down, leaving wispy lacing on the surface and a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of lemongrass are present in the nose along with some notes of raspberries.
T: The taste starts out with flavors of wheat and notes of raspberries. The finish is dominated by flavors of lemongrass and these linger through the finish.
M: It feels light-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: The name of this beer is deceptive because the taste seems to have just as much lemongrass as it does raspberries. Nonetheless, it is easy to drink and doesn't seem overly fruity or sweet.
