A session IPA in a can. Made with four exotic hops - Azacca, Calypso, Mosaic and Equinox. Taste is of tropical fruits, specifically passion fruit, grapefruit and apricots. Finishes with just enough toasted malt character to balance.

For a session IPA, this one has a pretty remarkable appearance. Blood orange, hazy, and two fingers of frothy white head. The last time I saw this much lace, I was rummaging through Kate Upton's lingerie drawer with Justin Verlander. I digress. The nose is a bouquet of tropical fruits, with a predominant whiff of orange peel. Taste follows suit delivering a wide array of grapefruit, lemon and mango notes. It's balanced on the back end by a grainy malt characteristic that allows the passion fruit to take center stage, without being overwhelming. This is surprisingly drinkable, and highly crushable, as the can suggests. It feels light-to-medium bodied, and were I drinking it blind, I wouldn't guess such a low ABV. A smidgen of prickliness on the tongue and I'm reminded that the session is almost (or far from) done. Seeing as how there's plenty of football left to watch, I think I'll have another. Two Roads' interpretation of the session IPA is definitely worth a try. Cheers.

12 oz can.

Pours heavily hazed tangerine amber, wispy off white tiny bubble head. Leaves nice fine sheeting.

Super fruity and tropical nose. Lots of melon and lime. Nice

Tropical fruit again on the palate. Plenty of citrus and pepper. Well done. My kinda beer.

Hope they make a lot of it

Tasting another session beer. I am really beginning to like these beers, especially during the warmer weather.
This one did not disappoint me. It had a nice citrus grapefruit nose that I would expect from a hoppy beer. The taste demonstrated all the hops and dryness you get out of a big hoppy beer.
Only this one is low in alcohol.

Liking it very much

Very nice, easy drinking session IPA. Lemon and citrus focused on hops, but a decent enough malt backbone (slightly bready and biscuity) to tie it all together. Definitely not an over-hopped session IPA; drinks like a solid APA.

Drinking this from a pint glass- pours a clear golden orange with a two fingers of white head, doesn't retain well, and leaves a bit of lacing.

Smell is a little lackluster- faint citrus hop notes and a little grain.

Tastes great however. Lovely hop profile; some pineapple, some earthy bitterness, some herb, balanced against a nice mellow grain canvas.

Mouthfeel is just right- light body, modestly carbonated and a little resiny. Long finish. This is one of the better ones. Needs to be dry hopped and then it'd be perfect or damn close.
