Tasting another session beer. I am really beginning to like these beers, especially during the warmer weather.
This one did not disappoint me. It had a nice citrus grapefruit nose that I would expect from a hoppy beer. The taste demonstrated all the hops and dryness you get out of a big hoppy beer.
Only this one is low in alcohol.

Liking it very much

Can dated 6/12/14

Hazy yellow golden pour with good head retention. Light, sweet fruity aromas of orange citrus and mango with a background of pine. Very pleasant fresh hop taste that is a nice combination of citrus, floral and pine. There is a nice bitter bite on the back end but still very light. The only off flavor is a bit of soapiness. Very light mouthfeel on the watery side. Light but creamy carbonation. This is excellent for a "session" IPA. The can says its crushable and does not lie. It may be watery and even a bit soapy, but it offers excellent fresh hop flavors in a lower alcohol, pleasant and easy drinking beer.

Appearance - Deep Gold, Head about 1 inch, and a lot of lacing
Smell - citrus (grapefruit and lemon citrus), sweet malt smell, and piney hops. So good!
Taste - Citrus (grapefruit and lemon), followed by herbal hops, and a sweeter malt flavor. Very smooth and easy to drink. Also, I'm getting something that is slightly soapy.
Overall - For some reason, I was getting a slight soap quality. Not strong but faint. my glass was clean. But also, Im still new to evaluating beers, so I'm not sure what it was exactly. That's what put me off.
