Traditional in concept with a Two Roads twist…dry hops. We use a combination of classic German as well as American hop and malt varieties in our Pils. We renovated a 100 year-old factory building and designed this Pils to have “extra” aroma…so, pardon the pun! Crisp…refreshing…refined.

Very cloudy, kind of tart, smells funky, almost saison-like. It's highly carbed, bitter with a twang. Honestly, this seems infected. I have another, so I'll see how that one tastes, but it's likely from the same batch.

Poured from a 12oz. bottle into a pilsner glass.

The color is a hazy yellow with an enormous amount of foamy white head that leaves a layer if webbing all over the glass.

The smell is malty with a tease if wheat aroma that pokes at the senses. Some dry bread aroma is present here with an older citrus character that hangs in the background.

The taste is a bit like the aroma. There is a crisp earthy malt flavor that holds a small bitterness in with some bready flavor that is a little dank. Not much in the way of hops which is unfortunately what I'm left with in this older beer.

The feel of this beer is medium bodied and has a decent drinkable feel. There is done nice crispness here that still adds to the overall experience of this beer. This beer ended up being older than I realized but there still is something here to enjoy.
