THUNDERBOLT AND LIGHTNING! This IPA is created with new-age PNW hop varieties as well as a bit of NZ too. Soft, creamy mouthfeel with light malt support. Then we add even more rhapsody with a second mondo dry-hop. Bright citrus, stone fruit and mild resin combine for a uniquely satisfying experience.

A: Poured from the growler into a Duvel tulip. Body is hazy golden-orange with a 2-finger foamy white head that retains well and leaves good splotches of foamy lace.
S: Ahh, yes. This is an old-school American IPA nose - loads of citrus, plenty of pine and a touch of stone fruit (think apricot). Also a hint of herbal spice. Very, very nice.
T: Begins with modest honey-type malt, but then juicy, citrusy hops take over. Not a frontal hop assault but rather a slow building of pillowy citrus - grapefruit and clementine orange and citrus peel - and apricot. Finishes with a nice, soft, lingering grapefruit bitterness that coats the palate but doesn't seem to destroy it. Relatively high ABV (7.2%) is felt as heat in the belly, but not noted at all on the palate. Tremendous overall balance and a subtle approach to loads of hops - I know that doesn't make sense, but it will once you've had this beer.
M: Surprisingly smooth and creamy given that huge billowy head - which I thought would have portended a sharper, active carbonation and bite. Medium in heft.
O: Awesome. Excellent. Easily the best "new" American IPA I've tried in a while. I'd put this up against the big boys from Vermont any day. I'm very happy that I've got a full growler on this Friday night....

Pours a hazy light orange color with a frothy white 2 finger head. Lacing is impressive.
Orange, pine and faint herbs on the nose.
Taste follows but is quite light. Most of the other Singlecut beers I have had were deeper in flavor. Good but a bit on the weak side.
Mouthfeel is medium-light. Carbonation is a tad on the light side as well.
This one was a miss for me. Decent flavor but the mouthfeel was thin. Worth a shot but I prefer many other of their offerings.

Look - yellow golden color with a slight tan. No real head. Super hazy
Smell - grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, mango. Incredibly tropical
Taste - lots of those same taste as the smell but not as powering but still really tasty. It’s says 116 IBU but it doesn’t taste bitter at all
Feel - medium full body with a lighter carbonation, slight creamy. Really nice for this beer
Overall - really fantastic
