Pours a golden hue with a slight orange tint. Flavor profile is bringing some pine and a nearly chalky citrus. Citrus does seem to be most prevalent here. Feel is smooth, though almost a bit gummy in the mouth. Nice drinker. An easy ipa to chew on. Probably wouldn't go back to it again, as it's a bit unique and not really my preferred interpretation of the style. But I am glad to have tried it.

On draft at Draught 55, NYC.

Poured a hazy brass hue with a one finger frothy white head. There was good retention and lacing.

The smell featured piney and tropical hop notes.

The taste offered resinous piney hops, with a secondary tropical note. There was a clean grainy malt in support.

The mouthfeel was toward the lighter side of the style.

Overall a tasty and very quaffable IPA.

picked up a 12oz fill locally, enjoyed from a singlecut imperial pint glass.

brew poured a transparent yet murky orange with a finger plus of ipa head that dissolved leaving oily bubbles and speckles of lacing on the glass. nose is resiny floral hop...a bit of mustiness as well. taste is a slap in the face of candied caramel hop. very resinous and dank. big lemon and citris. body is nice chewy while still being soft and drinkable. overall a candied ipa. not my favorite ipa, but unique and worth checking out. cheers

A: The beer is clear yellowish amber in color and has a light to moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high off white head that died down, leaving a thin layer of bubbles on the surface, a collar around the edge and some lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of citrusy hops are present in the nose along with some hints of pine resin.
T: Like the smell, the overall taste is quite citrusy—flavors of grapefruit seem to stand out in particular. Slight hints of pine resin are noticeable towards the finish. The beer has a moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and quite crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer packs the hop aromas and flavors that you would expect from an Imperial IPA but is rather easy to drink given its lower alcohol content.
