Notes/Commercial Description:
It’s hot baby, we needed to do something - so a sour lagrr! infused with hibiscus (and black currants, but who’s counting) seemed like something that would help beat the heat.

A: Poured a hazy greyish purple akin to an Italian eggplant. 1 finger of popping and fizzy head. Definitely had some syrup added.

S: Wild berries and thistle. Like walking through a meadow. Not very sour on the nose.

M: Very light and crisp. High carbonation but not exceptionally effervescent.

T: If you can imagine a not so intense berry Warhead, this is what this beer tastes like. A prickly sourness, black currant, and wild brush character. More sour than sweet, but definitely not intense.

A: Opaque grapefruit juice with no visible carbonation. Pink hue. No head.

S: Pink lemonade and grapefruit juice. Berry and floral notes as well.

T: Moderately sour. Does not hit the jowels like some others from this style that I've had. Light berry juice flavors and lemon.

Mouthfeel: Thin and carbonated. A touch dry.

O: Very drinkable and refreshing at 3.5% ABV. Not too sour. This is a very straightforward beer, with some more unique berry and floral notes compared to others.

Got this on tap at Alice's Arbor in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn.

The color was a light pinkish orange like the flesh of a pink grapefruit - very pretty.

I got wafts of lemon zest and fresh cut granny smith apples.

The taste of this brew stands out. The mouthfeel was crisp from the sour but it had a little juiciness that was almost cranberry juice-like. As the beer warmed up and I the experience of the sourness faded, the hibiscus tea notes came through very pleasantly.

A really nice middle of the day summer beer. With the low ABV its especially nice if your planning to get things done afterwards.

A- cloudy orange body with trickles of carbonation.... Foamy pale white head dissipates into sticky lace about the snifter and atop the body...

S- sour and salty, peaches or some other fruit are there... Definitely a fruity profile underneath.

T- still fruity, with lingering peach and lemon zest, i also get a dry taste that reminds me of apricot... Very interesting... Definitely orchard- like...

M- very light, tart, low-carbonation... Drinks easily... Dry mouthfeel so not quite thirst-quenching but still ideal for a summer day...

O- im loving this beer... Quite the surprise to get from a whole foods and from a brewery I don't know too well. I'd say it's great.

On-tap at Brklyn Beer Garden, JFK Airport Terminal 2, NYC

A: The beer is hazy light rosé in color with no visible carbonation and somewhat resembles peach juice. It poured with a thin white head that died down and left lacing on the surface and a thin collar around the edge of the glass and eventually completely faded away.
S: Light aromas of sourness are present in the nose along with slight hints of hibiscus.
T: Similar to the smell, the taste is slightly sour and has hints of hibiscus flowers.
M: It feels light-bodied and slightly tart on the palate and has a light to moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is very easy to drink and has some refreshing properties. It would make for a good selection on a hot summer day.
