A: Very welcoming warm environment - industrial but tasteful with wood, steel and cement surfaces, large communal tables. Very "brewing" oriented with malt sacks on racks and brewhouse clearly visible. Outdoor seating and mezzanine stage with live music.

Q: I'm a huge fan of this brewery, they've only been open @ half a year and for their age they have really impressed. Brews split between hoppy ales and lagers

S: Friendly and knowledgeable. Bar service only so you'll need to get up for pints. Food was brought to our table though

S: They had 8 beers on tap including a nitro barrel aged brew (amazing btw).

F: Totally decent. Meat pies and pretzels with excellent cheeses and sides

V: On par with NYC.

Overall, this is a very notable entry into the local beer market and worth visiting.

Fabulous beer selection and diversity across so many styles, all great! Awesome vibe inside the taproom, not a lot of space, but that’s NY. And great pizza across the street. Worth the visit.

This is a great stop if you are in Queens. The beer is really good and has a wide selection. Service is pretty good, can get busy but they still good. This unique place does theme days, which are nice too. Overall, a very good brewery and worth the time to get to.

Really funkly space in what feels like a heavy industrial area. Interior is a smattering of high top tables and a short bar. A balcony showcases a full rock band musical equipment setup. A projector and screen show ole movies (music related?). It's all dimly lit, with one glass garage door forming about the only natural ambient light. Staff is fairly friendly for NY, but not outgoing by any means. 'Efficient' is a good word here. Selection covers SingleCut's own beers, which span a gamut of styles, but not that diverse. That said, the IPAs are great. If IPA selection is your goal, then this place gets a solid boost. All-in-all, industrial music space with a big IPA listing.

16 taps, with maybe a dozen on. Met objective of trying newest Singlecut beers, and one offs. Crowling station a plus. Reasonable size, and not too busy for a Saturday night.

this place is so awesome, they have a really cool vibe, and some of the best beers, especially hoppy beers, in the city and beyond. they space is rad, mellow, relaxed, loosely music themed, with a small bar, a huge beer list, some wooden features giving the space some warmth for being a warehouse type, and a mix of different tables around. we posted up at a high top with a round of hazy ipa types, all of which were distinctly different from one another and what else exists in the world out there, and all of which were fantastically good. the harry doesnt mind and the im an alligator were standouts, as was the heavy boots of lead stout. the bartender was relatively busy it seemed, but took the time to chat with us, walk us through the specifics of the beer list, and share a few samples. we had a great time sipping these fine beers and hanging out here, i just wish we would have had more time, i could have spent plenty of time drinking here, the hoppy stuff was all lights out, a continuation and affirmation of what i already knew about these guys in my experience with their stuff before our visit. for all the breweries we hit in new york, this was one of my favorites, amazing beers happening in here!

Pain in the a** to get to, even from NJ. Friendly staff and a nice overall vibe to the place. Disappointed by selection. Arrived a day after a release and they were already out of cans. Luckily they make crowlers :) Probably won’t be going back anytime soon due to terrible location.

Open space and tables to sit and enjoy your beer. Place was clean and orderly. Games and cards available for patrons. Decent selection of beer available. No food options but understand you can order in from local places. Worth a visit.

Decent brew but way overpriced! How is it that a 16 oz 4-pk from Singlecut is almost twice as expensive at the Alchemist?!? There is no way that SingleCut is better, I hope they adjust they pricing soon... until then I’m not buying

When I visited the taproom, I was pretty bummed out. Didn't really like the beer, wasn't blown away by the service or the location. A year or so later, they started distribution in Ohio. I grabbed a few and have been hooked ever since. They make some of the best beers I've had from New York City. A few are some of the best I've had, period. Really great stuff.

Well full disclosure this is my neighborhood brewery but nonetheless they are top notch. Beers are killer, among the best not only in NYC or NY State, but I'd go as far to say along the NE. The place is just so cool, industrial but warm. They only play vinyl. Great BBQ eats. You have to get up to the bar for anything so that's the only reason I don't rate service higher. Selection is very IPA heavy which suits me just fine but some may find that limiting. Still a few sours, stouts in the mix. Just a great vibe every time I visit. They also offer growlers, crowlers and cans to go.
