Released spring 2014; drank 7/5/14 @ the Yarchives.
Clear light yellow hue; champagne bubbles throughout.
HUGE off-white head, which quickly dissipates; almost no lace.
Banana & black pepper nose.
Medium thin mouthfeel; slight carbonation bite on the lips.
Banana bread & apple cider flavor; this s a session delight, flavorful but easy to drink.
I'd have another.

Appearance: Pours with a finger and a half of head which within a couple minutes dissipated to nothing. Active carbonation is about right for the style, only contributing to the mystery of the missing head. Color is light orange.
Smell: Clove and spices hit on the front. Banana and creamy malts show up on the body. Medium bodied fruits shine through. Spices continue to come through and really dominate this brew.
Taste: Butter and doughy malts warm up on the palate. Cloves and spices closely follow the front. Leafy greens and continuing doughy malts ease the drinker down on the back end.
Mouthfeel: The carbonation is very low on the mouthfeel, which really allows the creamy malts and banana/fruit flavors to shine through.
Overall: A solid hefe from Spiteful but the carbonation is odd. Good flavors and drinkability make up for it though.
