Bright saturated orange color, lasting head of foam and plentiful lacing.
Floral and citrus peel hop aroma, pretty standard.
Taste is moderately bitter, more like an IPA than "Wheat Ale" as advertised on the label. Slight buttered biscuit specialty malt, citrus peel and floral notes. Moderate carbonation, medium body, feels like a middle of the road IPA.
Overall ok, nothing special in the scheme of things.

Appearance: Pours with a light head of about half a finger. Carbonation is light in the glass while drinking. Has a medium to dark copper color. Not really what I expected from a wheat beer.
Smell: The front is a bright presence of gummy hops with some caramel sweetness in the malt. The hops continue to come with accents of straw and pine. Some grassy wheat tones get picked up on the back end. The hop profile here reminds me a lot of Spiteful's APA Ghost Bike.
Taste: The front is a bright sweet wheat presence that quickly gives way to a complex hop body. Pleasant accents of pine hit right away and play along well with some tropical hop notes as well. A sweet malt backbone rides throughout. The finish returns with continued rounded wheat presence which lingers on the palate.
Mouthfeel: Light, sweet, hoppy, low to medium carbonation.
Overall: It has enough wheat tones that I am satisfied but could probably pass as an APA. Quite a bit going on here, I enjoyed picking out many of the different things going on in this beer. Nothing wrong with trying a different take on a beer.
