Muddy opaque brown with a loud fizzy tan head that instantly dies off to a still, smooth surface.
Smell is smoky caramelized brown sugar, Belgian candy, charred oak, toffee, vanilla, black licorice and cola.
This is the most "rum and Coke"-like beer I've ever had. Flavors of tangy sharp cola combine with a bourbon character that really leans closer to spiced rum due to an almost anise sort of spice.
This has a smooth, slick mild body, much like a cocktail, except for a slightly thickening fizz on the tail end of the semi-dry finish. It also tingles on the tongue, and becomes slightly numbing.

Dark amber with not much suds in the snifter. Sweet with the usual dry Belgian finish, but not very yeasty.
The bitterness tastes like the same hops that Rip Current must have bought cheap at an estate sale. So bitter. The flavor is really woody, with some kind of herbal bitterness. It's like some Chinese medicine with a scary sweet depth.
If zombies made a Long Island Ice Tea, this would be it. Not very drinkable. Has the house flavor of charred straw. On tap at the tasting room on 30th St.
