Poured from a 330ml bottle into a Fullers snifter glass.
Pours a mid-dark, cloudy orange colour, with a firm white head.
Smells amazing, fresh fruit - both sweet and citrus, and very pungent. Must be really fresh.
Tastes very hop forward, fresh fruit again, lots of lip-smacking pine and citrus bitterness that lingers on the palate and seems to warm up - the only sign of alcohol. Really surprised when I read 7.4% , there's such a small booze taste here. Nice use of malt too - it's there, creating quite a firm body, without being caramel-sweet in anyway, so it supports the hops and the fruit nicely.
Overall a really lovely beer. Highly recommended.
