First bottled release from this semi-local brewery.
Pours a pale gold with 1 finger white head.
Smells simple and grainy.Nice change of pace from the increasingly prevalent fussy beers using barrels, adjunct flavorings, etc.
Nice balanced flavor. Hops are just enough to match the pale malt. Overall taste felt a bit 'weak'. After drinking, learned the ABV was 4.8%.
Felt a bit thin, but this may be due to my recent history of consuming some higher ABV beers.
Quality pale ale I would recommended. Wish the price per bomber was a tad lower, though that can be said for most any beer.

Bomber purchased at a grocery. Poured in to a pint glass.
Pours a pale gold color, clear with a thin white head.
Smell is an astringent aroma. a sour wet grain aroma.
Taste is a lot like the aroma, a chalky bitter flavor without a lot of sweetness of fruit notes.
Feel is light and crisp with a very dry finish.
Overall a clean dry and bitter pale ale.

12oz can, packaged on 7/5/16, into 10oz goblet. Poured a lightly hazy medium gold color, with about 1/2 inch of white head that had decent retention and lacing. The aroma and flavor were nearly identical, gentle base grains with just enough hop tang to get your attention. The body was medium, and had a semi-sweet finish. Drinkability was good enough. Overall, just a nice, basic beer. Worth trying if you see it, not worth seeking out.

This is not too hoppy and certainly not bitter. It's a pleasant quaffable sort of brew, but soft rather than crisp. Not much aroma. Pleasantly sudsy in the mouth.
Color is a clear amber with a long-lasting foam. Light body but it has a malty mouthfeel. In spite of the thickish sweet substance this has a lemony note. Some honey taste and that sweet grainy malt. Sort of like cake batter with a resiny touch.
Slight bitter aftertaste, finally. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Central Market - Shoreline in north Seattle.
