Poured from the can into a Spiegelau IPA glass.

Pale amber body, slightly opaque but with some clarity showing off some real nice fine carbonation with an excellent glowing appearance. Rich three finger plus tall and controlled white head, island mountain on top with thick amounts of fine bubbles all over. Creamy and aggressive, with a great look.

Aroma is light hop florals with a touch of spicy citrus notes. Quite a bit going on here, leaving lots to explore. Good balancing sweet malt, just a touch of caramel like sweetness for contrast makes for a real nice nose. A bigger juiced orange really becomes prominent after awhile.

Palate is just bananas. Not in taste, but in pleasure and power. A rich honey like coated mouthfeel, with malt and honey sweetness so lightly tinged it makes the hops so bounce and pop that they come from everywhere. Big tangerine notes, floral and pine bitterness, mint and herbs all come out pushing in every direction. Finishes with an excellent herbal quality of mint, which the malt just so perfectly accents a nice sweet character.

Diversity, balance, deliciousness, what more can be said, nearly perfect.

Pours a hazy light orange with an ample fluffy head and lots of lacing.

Smells of grassy, floral and slightly piney hops with some citrus.

Tastes of slightly tart grapefruit, orange and lemon with a slightly bitter finish.

Medium light body with light carbonation. Slightly lush and syrupy.

This is a very drinkable NEIPA that starts as tart and bitter and gets sweeter and juicier as the glass warms. It’s well balanced and mild mannered.

Pours a hazy amber. Nice light creamy head with good lacing. Very smooth initial taste followed with a little bitter bite that disappeared into a melon, apricot, pine finish. A decent beer but doesn’t stand out in this competitive market.

can into glass
Quite a nice and frothy white head that subsides fairly quickly and leaves a good amount of lacy deposits on the glass, as the head disperses. Nearly completely clear, medium gold, with somewhat of an orange tint, for the look. What a very good, multi-faceted smell, that greets you. Aromas of mellow tangerine, lemon peels, a bit of pine needles amidst the medium caramelized barley malt. The flavors are mainly mixed citrus peels, in a non-bitey fashion, along with a good amount of malt, giving it an ample body and balances out the hoppiness. There is a bit of grapefruit peel, layered in the other citrus peel flavors, in the satisfying finish.

This beer will take your tastebuds on a journey. It is my current personal #1 in the state. I love the traditional IPA backbone to a modernly juicy hop bouquet (with some pine, passionfruit, and especially the “silver haze” herbal type of flavor). Similar in quality but unlike any top tier beer I have had. I wish they had canning dates though.

Turbid umber cloudy look with a fine lingering foamy head. Ham fisted on the nose with deep forest resin coming straight through and deep in the background some tropical notes with some bread aroma. The piney notes follow in the taste profile but so does the bread in the malt form. It loses almost all the tropical notes I found in the nose and blasts full steam into a more trad high ABV IPA. There's an astringency to the aftertaste I'm not in love with.

No date on the can.
This one pours a cloudy golden amber topped by a bright white head of dense, tiny bubbled foam. A frothy sheet blankets the top once the head subsided leaving drapes of lace filigree.
The aroma is malt up front followed by sweet and floral hop nose with hints of lemon and honey. Not a face slap of hops but mellow, inviting smells of good things to come.
The flavor is surprisingly light - or rather the body is and the lack of malty richness I expected from the aroma. Hop character dominates right off the bat - which makes me sit this aside for a few minutes to let it warm up.
A good call. This beer shines at 55 deg F and up. Nutty grain character in a lightly sweet caramel profile, the sharp hop bite comes in and takes over . Fresh, lemon grass flavors blend and compliment the malt backbone that was lost when fridge cold. Hop bitterness still carries the show here but the grain character stands up as the glass warms in my hands.
Finish is long and hoppy - tongue needles of acidity and juicy spruce tips and just a hint of alcohol warmth on the way down.
A solid offering I'd try again and I don't do that very often.

This DIPA presents as a foggy yellow can pour with a thin, soft, white foam cap and a significant pine nose.
The flavors include stone fruit, pine resin and a hint of grapefruit zest. The hop bitterness is moderate.
The mouthfeel is smooth.
This is a fantastic brew.
