From the bottle, it pours a light golden amber with lively, fluffy, head. Lacing. My nose gets ginger along the expected bready notes. My old bottle (I think it is a year old) has prominent ginger noses in the mouth as well. Wow!

This beer should be enjoyed for what it is, a ginger wheat beer, just like the label says. The wheat and ginger play nicely together. A bit of sweetness followed by the slightly spicy ginger. Not much to the mouthfeel but that doesn't ruin the beer. Tastes better as it warms up.

This beer poured an orange/golden (brinze?) color with minimal head that did not linger.

Aroma - the aroma was mostly reminiscent of a wheat beer. Some floral notes and just a very weak hint of ginger. Some earthiness as well and a bit floral.

The taste is malt/wheat making an immediate impact. There is some light, fruity aspect to this beer and I couldn't put my finger on it - though apple or pear, then maybe very light citrus notes The ginger shows up late in the taste and is in no way overpowering or spicy, butt here is a decidedly earthy note as well. The ginger lingers well into the aftertaste. There's a sweetness that ties everything together.

The feel - I thought the beer was slightly under-carbonated but it was still bright and lively somehow. Light bodied.

Overall - a very nice beer to drink on a hot summer day. The ginger plays well, but there is that earthy note that was initially very strong yet faded after a few tastes. Nice beer.

A - Golden orange, with light head and no lacing. Reminds me of a good ginger beer - perhaps not surprisingly.

S - The nose has ginger, but is primarily of grains, as the wheat shines through. Apples are also present, a sweet flesh and juice note that is welcome.

T - The nose continues through the taste, with apple flesh and subtle white bread qualities mingling with a ginger thread that complements the bright sweetness. A close is quiet, but pleasant, hints of sweetness lingering.

M - Bright, extremely well-carbonated, and very light on the tongue making it an easy drinker.

O - Glad I grabbed this one on a whim. An example of what a refreshing wheat without huge hops, where ginger offers a nice counterpoint to the sweetness and grain.

Thin head, doesn't linger too long. Nice hazy, yellow color. Smell pretty reticent of a wheat ale, light ginger on the nose. Some hops ring through on the taste which is consistent with most Foley stuff. Mouthfeel is nice and soft especially for a wheat. Solid overall, wheats aren't my thing but I enjoyed it.

Loved this beer. It's dynamic and essentially dances on your tongue. Highly recommended.
