Located not far from Aztec Brewing this too is located in an industrial park.
Walking in to the brewery you will find the seating area straight ahead and the L shaped bar to the right,
There were about 15 beers on tap and we tried the Belgian Golden, Hefe, Porter (Choco and Vanilla), IPA, Octoberfest, and the Pumpkin Spice. Except for the IPA there was nothing than was really worth a second taste. They really need to make a few beers really well instead a lot of so so beers.
The atmosphere was loud, with dance music pumping, and with only 10 people or so in the bar it was even louder.
No real reason to stop off here. You should really stay at Latitude 33, or Iron Fist etc.

Large 2 story tasting room with bar across from entry that seat about 15 and numerous tables on 1st floor and upstairs balcony. Lively crowd. 15 beers on tap, the one I had was solid. Food truck outside smelt good.

This place seems to get a lot of trash talk from local SD beer nerds and Ive never really been sure why. I applaud Indian Joe's willingness to experiment and deviate from the traditional. Sure, they cant all be winners but more often than not, I find myself enjoying their beer and love the diverse menu. Theyve got it all: hoppy, malty, sours, stouts and even barrel-aged. Its also one of the only places that allows a flight of up to 8 beers. Give them a go!

I wanted to like this brewery because the staff was so friendly. Unfortunately, though, the beer was subpar to HORRIBLE and the atmosphere was a completely scattered. I give Indian Joe's credit for ambition, but I also think it's their downfall. They're simply trying to do to much and lack focus. With 20+ beers on tap, how can they focus on making good beer? I'd like to see them really home in on 5-10 beers, and improve upon the recipes they already have. As for the atmosphere, it's a warehouse crossed with a garage, crossed with a sports bar, crossed with grandma's house.... and then grandma went the rave to get her dance on (loudly at that). I'm not sure if it's commonplace, but a few fold up tables were set up for what appeared to be a potluck. I also noticed Indian fry bread and tacos were being served for a price. I hope the food was better than the beer and decor...

Their tasting room is a good size. You got tables and stools in the middle and a long L-Shaped bar off to the side. They play music and have two TVs. I've been to my fair share of tasting rooms and you've got to love ones with TVs. This place offers up a great atmosphere, friendly staff and just an overall great place to relax and drink some good beer!
I had the pleasure of trying their Black IPA and that was a damn good brew! Indian Joes dares to go where not many brew places care for and that's their Pumpkin Ale w/ Pumpkin Pie Spice. Yes I said it, they sprinkle some Pumpkin Pie Spice on top of the foam! At first a was a bit hesitant it worked and worked well! They also have this coffee, vanilla porter that really stood out! I can see myself coming back after going out to dinner for their porter and an Indian Fry Bread! Nice light, fluffy fry bread with honey and powdered sugar!! Amazing! They also had an Indian Taco on the menu that I didn't get to try.
Lastly I had to opportunity to meet the owner, Max. Great guy! He really has a passion for what he does and what his beers stand for. I'll definitely visit again.
