Had on tap at Sticks and Stones last night.Came to the table in a stemmed glass a clear copper color with a tight half finger head, sharp grapefruit rind and a little grassiness in the nose with a tinge of sweet alcohol. The sharp grapefruit comes thru bigtime on the palate as well with underlying grass and lightly sweet caramel malts, the grapefruit flavors are large and in charge. Not bad but it gets a little bitter by the end of a 12 oz. pour,it packs a hoppy punch.

Served at the brewpub in Asheville.
Pour was amber with excellent clarity and a good head.
Lots of hop aroma and flavor, with just mild bitterness. Addition of grapefruit zest seems to affect the aroma but has minimal affect on the flavor.
Exceptional fruity/hoppy aroma.

On tap Common Market, Southend.
Great hoppy, citrusy smell. Taste is of grapefruit peel, but unlike Stone Grapefruit Slam, there is an awesome balance with the hops where you can actually taste something other than pithiness. Very solid brew, as usual from Wicked Weed. Love their stuff.

Mostly clear deep, coppery orange color under a big, frothy off-white head. Chunky patches of lacing. Aroma comes across as hoppy with a decent grainy sweetness beneath...nice, but not a very "deep" smelling beer. Citrus zest, spicy hops, earthy pine, toast, and just a hint of perfumy grapefruit here and there. Flavor is bitter citrus and leafy hops. A fresh, but not in-your-face grapefruit juice finish. Crisp, medium bodied, with some texture. Nothing memorable, but a decent beer overall.
