Wicked weed brewed their Freak of Nature IPA and it went a process to remove gluten, came out to be <10ppm.

Appearance- It was a perfect golden amber, nice head and lacing.

Smell- its smelled amazing! Dank! hops, hops, and more hops!

Taste- it tasted a little lighter than freak but not but much, it was very delicious and i could never tell you it was a gluten free beer if i didn't already know.

Mouthfeel- perfect carbonation, it wasn't thin but it wasn't chewy i thought it was great!

Overall- by far has to be the best GF/Gluten removed beer out there!

Had it the other night on tap at my local watering hole. I'd have to say this is one of the best tasting IPAs I've had that was produced in the southeast.

3.92/5: A bit strange at times, but it gets a generous score for nailing the gluten-free IPA aspect better than anyone else to date

Poured from a bottle into a shaker pint, the beer is a hazy, golden-caramel coloring with a solid flow of carbonation bubbling, and a low profile, foamy, off-white head. Aromas of tart grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, peppery dried grass, and resinous pine pitch. Very aromatic. Flavors are very citrus and tart forward, heavy on the grapefruit and tangerine, with a subtle acidity on the palate. Grassy and piney notes follow, providing bitterness, but also some depth to round out the fruity notes. The body is light, effervescent, and fairly dry. Solid aftertaste of piney and resinous hops bitterness, with some tart grapefruit highlights hanging on, too. Dry, crisp finish, with a solid bitter and piney linger. Solid beer!

Hazy medium gold,,finger bubbly head with decent retention and some lace. Floral piney aroma. Taste starts with light malt sweetness met by some peppery grassy hops. That green onion pepper spice lasts well into the finish. Medium soft mouthfeel. Best gluten free beer to date, great job.

I haven't had a ton of gluten-free beers, but this is unreal. Would love to try side-by-side with regular Freak. This seems to be every bit as good and has held up well despite being almost 2 months old. If you are gluten-intolerant, buy this beer up by the caseload.
