Thanks to Joe and Wil for sharing the Wicked Weed!

Pours a bright gold with perfect clarity, ample sudsy white foam that leaves a little bit of random lacing behind.

Smell is all Brett, musty dryness, damp hay, horseblanket.

Taste is slightly tart, might be from the rhubarb, but hard to tell. Bone dry Bretty aftertaste, slight funkiness. Feel is light and effervescent with a mild crispness to it. Overall this was solid, would have liked more rhubarb, but what can you do, it's pretty subtle. (498 characters)

Giant head on this one. Lace everywhere.. Aroma is sweetly floral, dandelions and wild flowers. Light fruit tartness that is evenly dispersed throughout sugar cookie maltiness. A little bit of lemon, candy lime, and sweet berries of some kind. Taste is similar but drive of the subtleties I was expecting to find are lost. Very clean and crisp, medium dry, fluid and juicy. Flavors are a little out of whack I think. It's hard for me to describe. Flowers mixed with decomposing lemon. Interesting. Smells great so I'm disappointed the taste wasn't as awesome. (559 characters)

BOTTLED IN 2014

Foggy golden color with a towering foamy head that takes a while to recede. Smells of leathery, flowery Brett, earth, clove, and a somewhat fruity tartness. Flavors are floral and bright upfront leading to an interesting minty/medicinal thing, before going back to a lighter Brett note, some tartness, and dusty, earthy funk. Aroma is definitely the winner here, the flavor is a little too sharp. Body is pretty light and quite dry. People seemed to think this very light with little Brett influence when it was released, I think the funk has finally emerged, but the result is still a bit disappointing. (626 characters)
