Hey, do you want a s’more? Some more what? No, no, do you want a s’more? I haven’t had anything yet, so how can I have some more of nothin’? You’re killin’ me, Smalls. To create this S’mores stout we used cacao nibs, brown sugar, honey, vanilla and chocolate which produces a wonderfully creamy and fluffy libation to sip on next to a fire on a blustery winter’s night.

I don’t know if I had the revamped version of this stout but it was 12.2% and came in an epic looking 12oz can (wish I could attach a photo!). Perfect blend of chocolate-y and vanilla notes. Cannot fathom how they did it but it is literally like drinking liquid s’mores. Kept it in the can and was super pleased that it didn’t have that slightly metallic aftertaste that I’ve been experienced with some other imperial stouts. I’m “new” to the world of craft beer but a good stout/porter has become my JAM (typically I’m a Pilsner or ale kinda guy).
I will definitely be returning to this one next holiday season! Stoked to try the other holiday bourbon-barrel stouts!

Found this very enjoyable. Chocolate and vanilla are main taste notes.

From the can, it pours a clear dark brown with a modest, soon diminishing to a thin ring, head, that seems to leave a bit of spotty lacing. In the nose, I get vanilla, a touch of chocolate and cinnamon. In the mouth, the vanilla comes through, hard, overwhelming my senses and then I get the roasted malts and chocolate.

Can dated 8/26/20 into pint glass. Pours an inky dark brown (SRM > 38) with a beautiful golden-tan head. Initial impression is milk chocolate and vanilla. Nice smooth mouthfeel, although it could be thicker for the style; alcohol is well hidden. Finish is more chocolate, but it has a slight bitterness. Overall, I thought this was a pretty good Imperial Stout - nowhere near the best ever, but certainly worth a try.

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass.
Appearance: Dark brown but falling short of black, with a bit of light getting through. Persistent two-finger khaki head.
Smell: Not very strong -- getting a bit of dark malt and vanilla.
Taste: Like the smell, not very intense. Roasted malt, bit of vanilla, not a lot else.
Feel: Fairly light-bodied, moderate carbonation, clean finish.
Overall: Misses the mark -- doesn't have the intensity one expects of 9.2% ABV pastry stout.

Nice dark pour, light khaki head that recedes quickly. Smells of vanilla and chocolate. Light carbonation with creamy mouth feel. Overall nice sweet taste like smores, then lightly moves to vanilla with a charred malt finish. Yummy.
