A nice foamy head on the pint shaker, better than most of the other Thorn St brews. Great hoppy aroma with lots of fruit. Brewer says there are five hops-- Amarillo, Simcoe, Columbus and two more for you to guess at.
The hops seem to be begging to join a DIPA party. Big and fruity, with pineapple and mango along with the touch of pine. A hint of skunk and maybe a stray cat. Really rich malty base with the big hoppy tang to set it off. Spicy flavors are likeable. More than bitter enough as you'd expect.
A big mouthful of hops making a bold statement on Thorn Street. On tap at the brewpub.
