Appearance: This beer pours a light red color and is topped with ¾” of white head that tends to linger.
Smell: The aroma of this Ohio red ale is of malt a few hops and I think a little yeast. It has me intrigued.
Taste: This red ale has a nice basic taste to it, good malt backbone with a little hop presents and a good dry finish a lot better than I was expecting.
Mouthfeel: A bit on the thin side, with a good typical red ale dry finish.

On tap at Treo in Sylvania, this one can be found all year both in bombers and on draft at restaurants in the Toledo area.
It's a pale reddish color, going on the side of copper but with a ruddy hue. The head is nearly pure white, a cap about a half finger tall. Lacing is left spottily and somewhat lazily on the glass. Most of what remains after a few moments is a thin foam that sticks to the edges.
A good balance of malty and hoppy, it's what one would expect for a "middle-of-the-road" style like this one. Breads and caramel mingle with mild hops bitterness, mostly floral. Pretty standard stuff, though well enough done.
The mouthfell goes pretty thin, even for a style like this. It's crisp and light in the body with moderate carbonation.
This isn't a bad, easily available offering, though it's somewhat par for a fairly weak style. Others have taken it and made it something great, so I know it can be done.
