Poured into a Sam Adams glass.
A - Opaque, a hazy golden color. Almost orange. Nice white head that quickly subsided.
S - I'll be honest the smell of Blue Moon is not that intriguing. Smells a bit funky, perhaps from the Belgian yeast. Hints of orange.
T - Mmmm. One of my favorite widely produced beers. Tastes of orange and coriander. Finishes pretty sweet and malty.
M - Pretty watery. I like my wheat beers a bit thicker than this.
D - A great session beer. Perhaps too sweet for most people to session, and the taste blands after too many.
Overall, a pretty good witbier. Sure, there are better (St. Bernardus) but if you're on a budget this is a great brew to keep in the fridge. After mowing the lawn on a hot day I can't think of a beer I'd rather have.
