Pours murky yellow with moderate white head. Aroma is of wheat, coriander, and orange--pretty much what the bottle promised. Flavor matches the aroma, with coriander taking the lead. Obligatory yeast character is there as well, along with some bitterness that sneaks in on the back end. The mouthfeel is a little thin, though the prickly carbonation manages to mask it until the finish. I'm a fan of strong carbonation, but this is almost too much. The flavors, while vibrant, become cloying with time. Definitely more of a sipping beer than something I would imbibe with gusto.
A decent witbier, if something of a caricature of the style. This was a beer that was, back in the day, one of my first divergences from your generic mass-marketed schlock, so I salute it in that regard. It still makes a serviceable fallback if nothing more appealing is around.
