16 ounce can poured into a pint glass.
A: Cloudy, pale golden, with bubbles streaming up throughout the glass. A well proprtioned head whith moderate retention. Apperance remains the same thoughout the duration, does not dissipate.
S: Citrus notes a little yeasty. Not a whole lot going on smell-wise.
T: Notes of citrus and coriander up front, malty on the finish. Seems subdued for a Belgian style wheat beer, which I typically associate with a more robust flavor. Tastes good, but certainly does not wow me.
M: A full mouthfeel, very satisfying. A steady stream of bubbles persists long after the first pour.
O: A satisfying sessionable wheat beer. There are a lot of wheat beers I would choose over this one if given the choice, but this beer has the benefits of being easy to find, and costing less than most micro-brews. I can't find much to be excited about with this beer, but I can't find much too complain about either. I definitely think that a slice of orange or even lemon makes it a more satisfying drink, but then, I'm just a big fan of citrus in general.
