Appearance: Blue Moon has a dark orange/gold color. Only a little bit of foam. There is less foam if you put an orange slice in the beer (which I only sometimes will do). Overall, a very pleasing appearance that changes shades with the light. Definitely looks like a wheat beer.
Smell: Good smell...orange zest and spices (nutmeg? cinnamon? coriander?) give it a nice bite. Fairly complex.
Taste/Mouthfeel: Again, tastes basically light orange-ey citrus. Heavily and nicely spiced. Definitely a smooth beer since the carbonation does not overwhelm. Maybe a bit too bitter for my liking.
Drinkability: Smoothness makes this very easy to drink, but it can be a bit thick.
Overall: Great, easy-to-find beer. A good staple wheat beer. Orange slice doesn't actually add much other than to appearance...it can actually make the beer a bit bitter and flat.
