A- Hazy gold, decent head. Nothing too unusual or remarkable.

S- You can definitely smell the orange, but it's not too overwhelming next to the smell of wheat.

T- Mild orange flavor, not too overwhelming. However, there is a distinct lack of spice notes. Refreshing, though.

M- Fairly full, well carbonated.

O- A good beer to get at a typical bar where big name brands are all they usually carry. Good for a hot summer night, though falls a little flat compared to some beers of it's style.

The perfect beer in the summer. Not only is there the nice fresh, citrus taste, but it is also refreshing. Of course you MUST have an orange peel with this or you're missing out.

The orange brings out the flavor even more. Not the best beer in the world, but a very pleasant beer for the summer.

A: Hazy orange color with a quickly forming 2-finger, white head. The tight well formed bubbles dissipate quickly. Very minimal lacing.

S: Citrus, spice and a bit of pine and coriander.

T: Sweet malt, orange flavor spices in the background. The sweetness is balanced a bit by wheat and hops. As the beer wams the sweetness and spices amplify slightly.

M: Medium body and carbonation. Goes down smooth and fast.

O: For beer produced by Macro brewer (Coors) Blue Moon is awesome. This said, it is dummied down compared to beers of this style produced with larger flavor profiles. The best thing about Blue Moon is that it is always there in a pinch at a restaurant with a limited selection of beers and on a hot summer day when I am doing summer yard chores. Also, its sweetness and orange flavor make it a approchable entry level beer for those transitioning from the common fizzy corn colored stuff that dominates the land. Cheers!!

bomber into a weizen glass.

a - pours a golden yellow shade and gives me a thin cap of coarse looking white head. poor retention and no lacing.

s - lemon, coriander, pepper, faint bubblegum, faint soda-like citrus quality.

t - toasted bread or cereal grain malt character, faint citrus notes, peppery. no discernible hop character and bitterness is non existent. also, the spices don't dominate the flavor like they do in some other witbiers (which is a good thing).

m - light in body with more carbonation than i prefer. coarse co2 profile.

o - definitely an easy drinker but doesn't offer much else. this was one of my gateway beers into craft. if nothing else, it's a decent, cheap beer.

Enjoyed this beer on tap at Brio Tuscan Grille in Annapolis, MD out of a pint glass.

A: Pours a very hazy orange hue with a 2-finger, white head that quickly dissipates into a wispy lace.

S: Strong citrus aroma with hints of pine and coriander.

T: Sweet brew with a dominate orange flavor. The sweetness is balanced slightly by the wheat and hops.

M: Medium body and carbonation.

O: I’ve had this beer a ton but never reviewed it until now. I’ve always like how easy it went down and the light citrus flavor.

A: Poured into a pilsner glass. Cloudy orange-ish color with a big white head with good retention. Looks pretty damn good.

S: Vague grainy sweetness, bready, with alot of coriander and sweet citrus too.

T: Slightly bready foretaste followed by the coriander and orange peel, which yield a sweet, citrussy, semi-dry finish. Kind of soapy, and a bit watery on the finish, but not too bad.

M: Pretty light bodied, with alot of creamy carbonation which is quite pleasant.

O: An okay beer, I feel the sweetness is good for trying to get BMC drinkers to try something new, and even though this is a coors product, I think it could lead some to explore more beers. So cheers to that!
