no head at all on this bad boy. Looks like water mixed with 0.01 parts beer and has constitency of water. Drinks worse than water. no taste at all. no malts, no hops, no nothing. well, maybe some corn. i'd rather have a vodka and milk than this shit. notgood.

I've had this beer on-tap, bottled, and in cans...and it still always manages to taste like metal and a blurry night.

A - Pale yellow with no head

S - It just smells like a bar after closing -- yeasty and a little malty

T - Virtually nothing. It's neither bitter nor sweet, but just leaves an odd starchy aftertaste

M - Carbonation is good in the beginning but goes away quickly

O - If you're in the need of a beer for a case race or shot-gunning you've found what you're looking for....but other than that, meh.

Simply put, this beer sucks but it gets the job done but not really. This beer would pour out of the tap with absolutely no head. People may ask you if your drinking apple juice because there is almost no carbonation. This beer is a very clear with a slight yellow tint, close to pee colored and has almost no smell to it, closer to the smell of stale beer if anything. This is an extremely light beer almost tastes like somebody put water in it, in fact the only reason you could have your brew taste like that is if you did add water to it.

After finishing the beer I brought, all that was let was a keg of this.

A: Clear straw/yellow color, a little head which dissipated to a layer of small bubbles on top. Not much lacing.

S: Not a ton going on here. A little musty, but get a little grain and some corn.

T: Tasted almost like watered down apple juice. Not much flavor at all.

M/D: Very light, somewhat high carbonation. Overall, it is, what it is. Cheap light beer. Honestly, from what the keg prices were I don't blame them for getting this over the other less than stellar options.

Pumped from a keg at a party...eh why not??

A- Pours a clear light yellow color. Two finger white head that sticks around for a little bit. Streaks of lace that turn to web style lace as I drink this down.

S- The aroma on this is very muted. Some light sweet corn in most of the nose is covered by a large metallic overtone. Some light stale alcohol in the ending which turns a little sweet with a hint of must.

T- Carbonated water with a hint of sweet corn at best. There is a ton of metallic flavoring as well with a touch of sweet alcohol on the tail end. Very muted in the flavor. More so than the aroma.

M- Light mouthfeel. Carbonation is high but normal for the style. Sweet grains and metal are left on the palate. Aftertaste is much the same with a hint of alcohol. Flavors are very bland so I would say it's balanced for what it is suppose to be. The metallic taste is the only off flavor but it is there all the beer. Light alcohol drying on the palate.

D- This is not bad but I don't like the flavor or lack there of at times. Low ABV means I could pound this all night. Not that I would really want to.

A: Very thin looking straw. Very clean, no head.

S: Pretty much nothing that reminds you of beer. Corn, very clean.

T: Very clean again. It's like seltzer water with an artificial crispness.

M: Carbonated water.

O: You can drink a ton of it because it doesn't taste like anything, but I can't imagine you'd enjoy it a whole lot.

im gonna say this much, it gets points on taste because i love water and this is water. drink one dipa after every four keystones and you are golden. this beer is the ramen noodles of beer. i wanted to add something to it to just give it a little flavor. whatever, 75 dollars for 165 of these is a good deal but it lacks all flavor.

Keystone Light....

Pours a watered down wheat color, with a fizzy starched head.

The smell is awful, which is characteristic of most coor's brews. Don't even wanna talk about this one.

Taste is, well, unimpressive. Tastes like light beer mixed with wood.

Overall impression: the only reason I drink this is because it's ridiculously cheap. Even for the light beer category, this is fairly awful.

As others have reviewed, doing this for kicks.

A: About as light of a yellow as you can get.

S: A faint, and gross, adjunct smell of rice and corn. That's being generous.

T: Carbonated water with an extremely faint taste of grains, perhaps hops, that's being generous.

M: Light as water.

D: I guess I have to say "good," because it really is like drinking (gross) water. I must admit, would drink this over Bud or BL, and such, but hopefully I will never have to come to that point. If you have a dollar in your pocket...save it, buy a scratch ticket, whatever, don't buy this. Well, unless you are dying of thirst.

Keystone Light, the beer of choice at a neighbors party. A half keg nonetheless.

Pours a gold with a decent amount of head that fades to nothing after a while. Crystal clear beer, in a straw hue. Pretty pale.

Aroma has just a faint beery notion.

A touch of malt in the flavor with a smooth creaminess. Light husk flavors as it warms, but this beer is best served ice cold obviously.

Smooth and crisp, a bit creamy though thin with a moderate carbonation level.

Well, its drinkable. Not better beer but you can actually do worse.

This beer pours an uninspiring clear pale yellow with a thin white head that disappears fairly quickly. Aroma is crisp, malty and rather weak. Flavor is malty and insipid, hardly there at all. The texture is quite thin and a little watery. It is hardly like drinking beer at all.

A friend had this on-tap in his kegerator and I couldn't resist giving this a try. I was also out of Kellerweise. Last time I drank this it was in an unfinished basement in college. This experience, frankly (and thanks to Kuklickx), wasn't terribly different. I found the key to this beer was to taste it as little as possible. Letting sit on my tongue for a split second before gulping left just a cream soda and white bread taste. When I let it linger, it tasted like a chemical spill. It was sharp and acrid with a dirty water background. Stick to chugging, you don't want to taste this.

In the depressing settings where one finds themself left with choices such as keystone light, it may be helpful to reflect upon the path that has led to such dismal circumstances. Beers such as this fall into a category where rating them is sort of a challenge. Essentially, all you can ask is "well, what did you expect?".. it smells like foam, however something can smell like foam I have no idea but the only thing that makes sense in the smell is generic beer foam. I suppose you're really just smelling adjucts. It has the generic adjuct taste of corn or whatever garbage is being used and a thin, watery body. Perhaps you could say there is a slight extra sour/bitter taste that gives it a modest hue of unique character when compared to the other light adjuct lagers from coors et al. Again, the best thing this beer could be used for is a catalyst for reflection upon one's own life choices, because if you are drinking this by choice then you have made some terrible, terrible mistakes.

When my friends throw parties, this is the kind of keg they get. It's cheap, and for good reason. It's the typical BMC light lager. Looks like tinted water. Smells like beer mixed with water. Tastes like water-diluted beer. It's over-carbonated as well. The best thing about it is it's not hard to take a few of these down (so long as you drink it quickly). It's a great beer pong beer: cheap and not too alcoholic.

A - Looks like water almost, very light color, forms a head but its gone in a matter of seconds, no lacing.

S - Umm, theres a smell?

T - I don't know what to give this beer for taste because honestly, there is no taste. Water has more flavor than this beer.

M - yet again, water, with some carbonation.

D - If you can drink water you can knock these back all night long!

This beer really has no taste at all to me, so I guess its really not a bad tasting beer. I guess that does make it a decent party beer because you could drink a case of these no problem.

really, just a beer you drink at parties in college or what not, completely bad

look: well, it looks awful pretty much just a clear hardly yellow liquid with no head or lacing to be found (pretty much looks like a soda but more pissy)
smell: none to be found
taste: lol. pretty much tastes like mildly bitter water with too much carbonation
moutfeel: it feels terrible, way too much carbonation and then when the carbonation dies it just feels like what piss (probably) feels like. Not a pleasant aftertaste either
drinkability: well theres usually a lot of it around, its cheap, however i cant drink that much because its still so awful though

Being my first review, I decided I would start with something I have, unfortunately, had a lot of.

A - Very clear, with really just a yellowish tinge, pours a lot like a coke would, with about the same head retention (none).

S - the smell is light, and almost hard to detect, no real malt smell, but something does seem beerish...

T - This is the main reason people I know don't like beer, because this is what they think beer actually tastes like. Its forcibly bitter, but not from hops, so I don't really know what they put in there.

M - Goes down like water, and I think that's the point.

D - Really for youth parties, where mass consumption for a cheap price is the main goal. I don't hate it by any means, and I'll probably have more in the near future. After each can/cup you are just left with a lot more to be desired.

Drank this at a football party at my son's house; it was cheap and they can drink a lot. He and I need to have a talk about beer.

A: Very clear pale straw color. Poured a one inch coarse, fizzy white head that dissipated immendiately. Decanted continuously. No lacing.

S: Corn, light grass; that's about it.

T: Bland, same as aroma - corn and grass. Can't say it awful, but really not much there - even to be offended by.

M: Very light bodied. Carbonated.

D: Drink it rue enough, but why.

Poured frsh from the old "college keg" this ill-reputed libation does muster a big white bubbly head with a little lace and a yellow gold color. Smells pretty weak with cereal and some citrus suggestion. Although this is obviously whimpy stuff by nature, it has a slight creaminess to it that I don't usually note in other light beers. But the flavor is a bit of the usual bready cardboard. Tolerable but only if you accept light beers at all in the first place.

this beer is only good if you are in college and looking for a cheap keg. It is a very light beer with very little taste. Rumor has it that it is the bottom of the barrel of Coors Light. I would believe it considering there is absolutely no head at all when poured.

All good college students know about Keystone Light. This is the one that the bartender that gave it to me termed "study beer". Studying what? because drinking this would break my concentration.

I think that it got the name because they offered it at $3.00 a pitcher. It pours a pale yellow with a slight fizz for head. The taste? It had taste? You might as well have drank water. It sorta goes with BBQ but I can come up with about 10 other ones that would be better.

So, if there was nothing else, it won't kill you. Otherwise, I'd pass.

I need some more reviews to get my mug, so I'm reviewing good old keystone light. Served to myself in a pint glass from the kegerator in my living room. Pale yellow with lots of fizz (oops, better turn the CO2 down). The "head" that was there is gone within 30 seconds. The smell is very thin, almost not there. I guess it smells like cheap adjunct, mostly rice. The taste is poor but not horrible. It is very thin, very watery and has an unexpected sweetness. I used to laugh at the commercials with the bitter beer face guy. Now they just make me shake my head. No hops whatsoever. Made for drunks and college students, of which I am both on occasion. Really though, who's gonna buy this to enjoy?

Initial thought: Incredible. Delicious is the first word that comes to mind. Drinkability, ya know like chug-ability. The ability to chug. Fountain of youth type hydration. Relinquishes thirst like a common niagara fall in a can.

A-Caramel apple jesus piss type color. Sort of like the red sea turns keystone type feel.

S-Smells like the first breath of fresh unraped oxygen when you get out of a state penitentiary.

T-Fresh squeezed god nectar from the garden of eden. The snake really was too drunk to pick out the right tree and picked a stupid apple instead of a fresh delicious keystone light.

M-Wide mouth for extra drinkability like a virgin blowjob with a drop-jaw which eventually turns into a lock-jaw am I right woop woop hell yeah yum yum keystone 4 the win.

O-Damn good.

For a man of both macro and craft, this is my personal favorite macro American light. I poured it from the can into my trusty drinking boot for this review.
The appearance is light gold and very transparent, as with most brews of this style. Decent sized head, too.
Not much of an aroma here, so I can't honestly say its offensive to me. Nor can I say its the most amazing scent I've ever experienced, thus the 3 rating.
The mouthfeel is very light and crisp with virtually no lingering elements. This is expected with light American adjuncts, so I certainly wasn't disappointed.
The taste is very, very slightly more hoppy and noticeable than Coor's Light-the "main" light brew of the company. Another reason why I go for this when the occasion calls for it.
If I'm low on funds and just want something light, Keystone Light is my personal choice. For under $20 here in northeast Ohio, I really dig that price when I'm in a light beer mood. As I've said in my Budweiser review, while I venture out into more exciting territories in the world of craft brew, I have the old standby. This just so happens to be my light standby.
