A: Very clear golden color. Not much head retention.

S: Not much going on here, a little bit of the typical lager sweetness, but that's about it.

T: Lots of grains make up for the slight malt. A much more pronounced hop kick than most in the same family. It's crisp and clean, very refreshing.

M: Medium bodied, crisp and smooth.

O: Pretty good for the style, much better than most. I'd have no problem drinking these.

I CAN usually bypass Coors products, but as my CAN quest CANtinues, I CAN't necessarily find beers in CANs that I have not tried before.

My pour created a finger's worth of bone-white head that quickly slipped away into wisps. As to the beer's color, there is something to be said for truth in advertising. It was a deep golden-yellow with NE-quality clarity. The nose had a definite lager-like sweetness, which was a hopeful sign. Mouthfeel was medium with a light sweetness on the tongue. Finish carried that same light sweetness. Overall, it was not terrible, but it was not very different from so many other American lagers that I have tried as part of this mission. Ho hum.

Poors frothy, but calms down to a thin soapy head. Few bubbles are visible. Clear yellow; essentially looks the same coming out of the can as it will coming out of you.

The smell isn't terribly appealing but is better than most mass-produced lagers. Just your basic barley smell.

Tastes okay for what it is. Not really any sign of hops. Relatively clean and mild aftertaste.

Tingly and thin. The mouthfeel is the best part of this beer to me. It feels about the same as a club soda but with less tingle.

Moderately good drinkability for no other reason than the price: $10 for a 30 pack where I come from. Not a beer to enjoy or sip, but if you can get it really cold and frosty then its a good beer for hot dogs in the summer or purposely trying to get a cheap buzz. Not much use for it beyond that.

it is only 10.99 for a thirty case to start. we then move on to a golden colored brew that is sharply carbonated. the carbonation is a bit much, but the beer is a bit more mild in flavor. it is not great, but they go down pretty easy, and for the price, it is pretty hard to beat

Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is mild, some malts. Taste of corn and malts, fairly refreshing. Feels light in the mouth and has average drinkability. Overall for a low cost beer, this one ain't all that bad.

Clear gold color...small whisp of white lace...cooked corn and soft graininess on the nose...full bodied for a lager..pretty thick for a lager...taste is sweeter for the style at first but finishes dry...I think this is one of the better American lagers made...not a great beer but fuller bodied and tastier than most...I can enjoy these...better out of a can actually...

Someone mentioned this was rolled out to compete with Busch...If I remember right it was originally slotted to compete with MGD, etc...kind of a tastier Coors, but not premium like Michelob or Lowenbrau were considered...

A: Gold with incredible clarity and minimal carbonation. Fizzy white head sticks around for a minute or two. After that, we have gold colored water with a few bubbles in it. Left no lace.

S: Mild. A little bit of apple and a little bit of hay. Certainly inoffensive, if nothing else.

T: Clean, and crisp with a bit more punch than regular Coors. Malt flavor consists of a mix of straw and rice. Bitterness balances with a tart apple flavor. Finishes with very little aftertaste.

M: Light body actually has some substance to it. Carbonation level seems right.

D: Certainly more interesting than regular Coors. Sort of a Coors on steroids. An OK beer, but not worth a revisit.

An average macro from start to finish and well deserving of a 3.0 score. Certainly drinkable when watching the game or any other social type function but lacks character.
Medium/light body of a bright golden hue and light carbonation.
Very limited head/lace/ring/&cling.
Slight grain in the nose.
Sweet complete with some evidence of the hops but limited.

Drank from a can with a date, not sure if it is the canned date or the expiration date. I didnt bother to pour this brew into a glass. I enjoyed it from the can. This beer seems like a cheaper offering from the Coors company. The taste that comes to mind is corn, including the husk. No real hops. This was pretty refreshing, nothing to exciting. Overly carbonated. Mouthfeel is also overly bubbles.
