Poured into an Allagash glass from a bottle purchased at BevMax in Norwalk, CT.
Pours golden yellow with amber tones - looks more like a pilsner than a pale. Big white bubbly head, that almost immediately disappears into nothingness. The nose was the most concerning part - its was soapy with hints of orange and wheat. Altogether this added up to a not to pleasant smell.
Taste definitely highlights the honey in this beer, with an assertive amount of orange and wheat. A taste of lemon on the tailend - a lot going on here I guess, but it doesnt balance particularly well. Its a refreshing brew, with some of the positives of its blue moon brethren, but not a lot of the positives.
On further review - the honey in this brew is overpowering, and not good.
