Poured into a imperial pint glass from a brewmaster's can (btw, first can review so take that you suckas). Label says "Summer Honey Wheat".
Pours a pretty honey golden color. Nearly perfectly clear, lively, lots of visible carbonation. Bright, bone white head, but quickly fades into very thin wisps of weak foam. Smell is adjuncts, weak honey sweetness, some doughy malts, lemongrass and water oddly enough. Faint odor, requires swirling to get a good whiff. Not bad, definitely not great. Taste is also pretty adjunct dominant, those damned metal tastes I always taste from adjunct dominated beers. Sweet (sort of), some lemony tartness, finishes a touch dry. Has a sugary streak through it that makes it difficult to drink. Medium light body, definitely has a little more heft than I expected. Still doesn't improve this poor beer.
A disappointment. Most Blue Moon brews are not half-bad at best, and at least drinkable at their worst. This beer is the latter. Overly sweet, adjuncty and just not very good.
