A - Golden Amber, adequate carbonation, poor lacing and head retention.
S - Lime and hops are at the forefront here.
T - I'm really not impressed whatsoever with the taste of this one. I think its trying its best to be a summer ale, but falls far too short. Overly bitter, simplistic, hoppy taste. Acidic.
M - Not much to say here. I guess the mouthfeel is rather typical as far as macros are concerned.
D - Not so good. I can't get past the synthetic lime flavoring. Its just too much.
In conclusion, I decided to give Rising moon a go considering the limited Walmart beer selection and my mediorce respect for its older brother Blue moon. Unfortunatly, it was a mistake that I will not repeat. I suggest, in all honesty, that Coors either totally revamp this brew, or discontinue it. I don't mean to be too harsh, but for the price I expected higher quality. Furthermore, we struggle with so many blatently dispicable macro brews in the United States that marketing another is like pouring salt on the wound.
