On-tap at The Boulevard, on to the beer:
Looks like the color of brass with a tint of amber. Head retention is fair, the lacing good. The nose is relatively soft, but does offer a few perks of aromas. There are quick bursts of piney and citrus juice notes, and a soft fruity background. The taste offers less of the fruit and a lot more breadiness. Slightly sweet tasting, with a kiss of hops. A twang of fruit breaks the mold, ye the beer remains balanced. It's a light medium bodied beer with a pleasant crispness, helping make Batch 19 refreshing.
Approachable American lager that's easy to drink. And coming from Coors, which is noteworthy, as I was told that Batch 19 was the name of the brewery, not a beer made by Coors.

Sampled tonight on 3/19/14 though I had this once before back in 2012. Bottle chilled down to 36 degrees F in my beer cooler and poured into a pilsner glass.
Pours a medium amber with not much a 2-finger white head that settles down to a thin layer on top. Lots of lacing was seen with each sip. The aroma is of different sweet hops and malts. Taste of like a corn sweetness followed up by gentle hops. Overall very enjoyable. If this is what some beer tasted like before Prohibition in 1919, then fire up the ol' DeLorean and lets take a trip 'Back to the Future" to taste some more early-type brews. Great job Coors!
