Pours a deep wood brown, fairly hazy. The head was gone before I had a chance to see it.
Smells a bit of chocolate and brown sugar, but the scent on this one is kind of faint.
The taste is a little disappointing. A bit barley with hints of chocolate in there, but very weak to me, almost like its watered down. The taste is good but there isn't enough of it.
The mouthfeel is tingly despite an apparent lack of carbonation but it just seems to hide the taste more.
Drinkability is fine. Nothing more, nothing less.
Ultimately, a beer that could be very good but seems like it is just too weak. It's like the taste was siphoned out of it.
