Poured from a 12-ounce bottle marked "Full Moon" into a Sunset Grill & Tap pint glass.
A: Poured a light-brown amber color with a two finger head of frothy white foam. Carbonation looked good and lacing followed suit.
S: Smells malty sweet and slightly spiced, but mostly of muted vanilla bean and brown sugar. Almost like a candle aroma.
T: Taste was mostly malt, with a hint of sugar, cinnamon and other faint, sweet spices. Not all that impressive.
M: Mouthfeel is medium bodied and rich textured. Not the heartiest of brews, but very solid drinking.
D: Easy to split a six-pack of this on a chilly fall/winter evening. Not the most exciting, but good enough to drink a few.
The label on the bottle is what drew me to this one more than anything; all cozy in a snow covered cabin. The brew isn't stellar, but it's worth a look, like the other Blue Moon "seasonals."
