The beer came on tap, served in a tall glass and rimmed with a cocoa poweder/sugar mix. The ale had a red amber colour to it with a reduced tan/cream head. Good clarity. There was slightly sweet nose, but the smell was mostly muted. Tasted like a belgian-style ale; no lingering aftertaste... not bad, but average.
Would I buy this beer again? Probably not.

Drank this from the bottle at a holiday party. I thought it had a nice enough presentation.
Smells of cinnamon and nutmeg with a hint of a pleasant beer scent.
Tastes like it smells like. The balance between the spices and the beer was really good.
It was a nice medium mouthfeel with a pleasant, mildly spiced, finish.
This was a pleasant Dubbel with a nice balance of cinnamon and nutmeg flavors.
