Quick review - medium thick in the mouth , slightly hoppy smell, with a bitter hoopy taste.
I poured it in a 16oz. pint glass. The color was a dark reddish brown with a medium head that all but dissapeared..
About the only scent I could place was the hops.
The taste was bitter hoppy with not much else to mention. I was hoping for the "dark Belgian sugar" mentioned on the label to come through as a malty sweetness.
The mouthfeel was medium thick with no fizzy feel to it, thinning slightly as it warmed.
I can stomach this beer and I'm glad I bought a six pack as I feel the need to try almost every beer I see, but I won't be picking this beer up until next year when I've forgotten what it tastes like.
