Appearance - Pours a clear, rusty color with an off-white, 2 finger head. Poor retention. Lace is minimal with no stick.
Smell - Sweet aroma. Caramel, brown sugar and a slight vanilla.
Taste - Light on flavor. What's there comes across with bready sweetness, caramel, brown sugar and a touch of vanilla on the back end.
Mouthfeel - Light to medium body. Fair carbonation. Too thin for the style.
Overall - As a beer in and of itself, it's decent. As a belgian, it's a total failure. Weak, underdeveloped flavors. A body that's not right for the style. No effort in making a true Belgian with this one, only a beer that will appeal to the masses, and you do that by minimizing flavor while cutting down on the body.
