12 oz brown bottle with a freshness date printed on the bottle. "An ale brewed with natural flavor & caramel color" on the label.
A- Foamy with a good retention, crystal clear tawny hue.
S- Light vanilla extract in the aroma with a faint toasted malt, sweet smelling.
T&M- Lighter body than expected with a flash of crispness and then right to a slick mouth feel. Odd vanilla flavor mixes with a muted malt flavor, minimal hops with a slight warmth from the clean alcohol. Finishes dry with very little after taste ... the vanilla is a distant memory until the next sip.
D- There is something just not totally right with this beer. Lack of body and odd vanilla flavors just at me first. Lack of real malt density & flavor does this one is when it comes down to it. Take this one back to the chalk board ...
