A: Mahogany body with a healthy off-white head that holds momentarily then settles to a thin crown. Mostly clear with reserved carbonation. Leaves very little lace.
S: Aroma of sweet bready malts and fruity esters. Plums and red wine come to mind. Hints of herbal hops underneath.
T&M: Medium+ body with decent carbonation and a somewhat chalky finish. Flavors are consistent with the nose. Interesting mix of sweet malts and fruitiness (grapes, plums, raisins). Almost tart at the end. Almost no hop bitterness.
D: I bought this beer as part of a Blue Moon mix pack that also contained the Pale Moon and Blue Moon. I found the Full Moon to be by far my favorite of the bunch. I enjoy the combination of flavors and the ease of drinkability. I would recommend giving this a try and would certainly welcome another.
