Poured this into New Belgium Globe Glass
Pours a 1 and 1/2 finger slight tan head. Leaves some splattered lace. Color is a hazy dull copper. Very good looking beer.
Aroma: Very weird, but the first scent reminded me of McDonald's french fries. Sweet malts and roasty camel as well.
Taste is of brown sugar, carmel malts. A dark beer but not too many distinct flavors. This is only my 2nd dubbel I have had and the 1st was the same way.
Mouthfeel is smooth and creamy. A little alcohol comes out in the aftertaste along with it being slightly dry. Good carbonation.
Overall a great product from Coors as it was pretty close to the other dubbel I have had. It is pretty easy to drink and I'd definitely pick it up again at the sale price I got it at.
