A: Dark Mohagany tones, capped with a fine sandpaper colored head.
S: Deep malt richness, slight wheat and dark chocolate.
T: A watered down version of an abbey ale. I feel like the attentuation in this beer is under developed, because it has a sweetness that cant be intended. As if it should have been a higher abv beer, but the yeast went on strike. Has a Malt start and finish, balanced only by slight flavors of plum, and maybe wheat, but i might be over thinking it.
M: Smooth and dry, with adequate carbonation.
O: Not such a bad beer, a little sweet for my taste. I would have to say this beer, like most others from blue moon, really try to appeal to the mass beer audience and neglect the true form or style.
