Poured from bottle into pint glass

Appearance – Pours a nice clear golden color. There is a billowy just off white head which fades quite fast to leave a thin white head on the top of the beer, but very little lacing on the sides of the glass

Smell – Citrus notes are most heavy up front. The larger of the citrus is orange with is mixed in with a bit of lemon. There is an ever so light bready-wheat aroma as well. Overall the aromas are quite light.

Taste – Malty wheat sweetness and caramel are the first flavor to meet the tongue. It is rather surprising from the nose which is stronger in the citrus. The citrus in the taste comes more toward the middle and the end and is actually quite light. It is a very smooth and subtle taste transition, although the taste does lack much of the complexity of the other blue moon brews as well as other beers of similar style.

Mouthfeel – The body is of light to medium thickness. It passes the tongue very quickly. The carbonation is a bit on the high side, but good for the style and body type. It’s feel makes it very easy to down.

Overall – The beer has a nice flavor, but for the most part is rather one dimensional. It’s refreshing and one for a hot day perhaps.

Poured from a brown 12 oz. bottle. Has a pale golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is mild, some citrus notes. Taste is crisp, mild, slightly tart, some wheat and lemon, not exactly bursting with flavor. Feels light in the mouth and overall is a mediocre beer.

A - Poured out a clear, golden yellow color with a one-finger white head of bubbly foam. It left little to no lacing.

S - It smelled of lemon and wheat. Not much more.

T - Dominated by lemon and wheat with a mild spiciness.

M - It was crisp, sharp and smooth. A light bodied ale with a dry, clean finish.

O - This is a an okay wheat ale. There is nothing to make it stand out.

Appears a very clear golden yellow with a disappearing soda head, which is sort of the exact opposite of what I expect on top of a wheat ale. Texture is very thin and watery, at least the carbonation is lively, but again that reinforces the soda notion in my head. Smells very much like the lemon-orange medicinal oily aroma from a Wet-Nap that has been soaking in a glass of diluted tonic water. Seriously, it actually does smell like that. Flavor is thankfully(?) a lot blander than the nose would have you believe, coming across as a sort of generic ghost of a wheat malt mixed with mushy stale oyster crackers and a twist of citrus. I'll be avoiding this one in the future.

This brew pours a very clear and light gold, with a tight, thin white head that amounts to some decent lacing. A grainy nose is met with a little wheat aromas and the barest hints of orange and lemon. The flavor profile is much of the same, with grainy, husk-like malt blending with slight wheat, orange and lemon notes. A medium-high amount of carbonation rounds out this light bodied ale. After the great caramel maltiness of the Full Moon Winter seasonal, this Spring release leaves the pallet refreshed and renewed.

The beer pours a yellow to orange color with a white head. The aroma is a mix of grain and wheat with not too much else going on. The flavor is more of the same, with a little bit of grain and orange citrus going on. I also get some other citrus but it is fairly faint. Medium mouthfeeel and medium carbonation.

12 oz bottle poured into a pint glass.

Dark gold crystal clear brew with little head and no lacing.
Aroma is quite fresh and pleasant, lemony.
The palate doesnt live up...at first there is a fresh citrus but then a macrolager blandness washes across teh palate. Lemony zing tries to dance on the tongue in the finish but is weighted doen by an American Macrolager sweet adjunct malty effect. Weird--yet in th eend it's pretty refreshing, not bad.

I poured a bottle into a weizen glass.

Appearance- Clear golden color with a half fingers worth of rapidly disappearing head. Very little lacing.

Smell- Very mellow aroma of wheat and lemon.

Taste- Sweet malt flavor with a bit of lemony citrus and some spices.

Mouthfeel- Light bodied, smooth, and crisp. Decent amount of carbonation.

Overall- Not a bad brew, but I would prefer a regular Blue Moon over this.
