APPEARANCE: This beer, poured from a tap into a pint glass, produced a foamy white 1/2" head that dissipated somewhat slowly leaving virtually no head lacing. Carbonation was lively in the clear yellow body.
AROMA: The scent was of a quite faint corn maltiness together with a light level of honey and wheat. I couldn't discern any hop aroma.
TASTE: A faint honey taste followed quickly by a grainy, bready wheat tang and a very light citrus hit at the end. Pretty bland, actually.
MOUTHFEEL: This beer has a light body with a thin texture, lively carbonation and very little body lacing that dissipates somewhat slowly. The initial flavor is moderately sweet -- perhaps overly so -- with a lightly bitter finish that lasted for a short time.
DRINKABILITY: This beer is definitely repeatable all afternoon, particularly on a hot day, BUT (there are always buts) it's too sweet for me and lacks complexity. Quite frankly, it's hard to tell it's a wheat beer. It's mediocre at best -- not too bad but not exceptional in any way.
