From the 12 fl. oz. bottle marked APR1513-B0510OO26. Sampled on November 16, 2012.
The way it looks is rather appealing with a dark amber almost reddish tone but little in the way of head.
The aroma is kind of faint with notes of cherry or cranberry but little else that jumps out at me.
The body is thin to medium but vaguely creamy.
I have had a dessert that tastes like this before but I can't put my finger on exactly what it is. The best I can do is find an Allspice and cinnamon element along with a sweet fruitiness. Teh bitterness is very low and does not linger.
Generally I am OK with Blue Moon beers but this one seems to be a little strange and difficult for me to love. But it is sweet enough to appeal to some people I bet.
